The Columbia Alumni Association of Beijing invites alums and their guests to a curated tour of the Poly Art Museum on Saturday, pilule September 24. The Poly Art Museum maintains an exquisite permanent collection of rare Chinese art objects and hosts special exhibitions. The permanent collection consists of ancient Chinese bronzes, pills including some that date to the Shang Dynasty (c. 1600-1046 B.C.E.), diagnosis stone Buddhist iconography, ceramics from the Middle Period, and bronze animal heads originally installed at the Old Summer Palace.
The curated tour will be followed by a self-guided tour of the special exhibition, and then we would enjoy seeing you at the optional group dinner at renowned Peking duck restaurant Siji Minfu (四季民福).
